THE ANIMALS – ‘It’s My Life’ 1965
written by the Brill Building songwriters Roger Atkins and Carl D’Errico
I’m kinda wishing that there was a group out now, who had a record that sounded exactly like it from a production point of view, and lyrically and guitar and everything. It just sounds like the best modern group in the world to me at the moment. That’s kinda the way I think. So that’s kinda why I’m listening to it…the best guitar band around…the best guitar record around ever, I think.
