Johnny Marr and The Healers Rocked Night & Day

The vibes at Night & Day Cafe must have been really good, because Johnny Marr and The Healers played loads of “golden oldies” on Thursday night, 29 September 2011, in Manchester. ‘Headmaster Ritual’, ‘London’, ‘Sweet and Tender Hooligan’, ‘Shakespeare’s Sister’, ‘How Soon Is Now?’ and new Healers songs – one named ‘Say Demesne.’ Looking forward to seeing the complete set list.

I did. If you hover over the pictures, the photographers names are there. But I can add them underneath, too.

Don’t think he played London, but it was a very special gig

Thanks, I’ll take it off.

When did he play London??

I didn’t manage to get one of the setlists, but There is a light was listed to be the last song, though it didn’t get played!
They finished on it’s my life, an animals cover
they played nothing from boomslang, and the new songs sounded fantastic

Was London not the first song? I’m sure it was.

first song was Shakespeare’s Sister I believe

Was a great show, met Johnny before hand and he was really pleasant – signed my setlist at the end too which was sound of him!
Hope he does some more gigs!
