He picked out Ennio Morricone’s Crime and Dissonance and Ennio Morricone Happening – Acid Sides of the Maestro and Joshua Waletzky’s Music For The Movies: Bernard Herrmann, who did a lot of Hitchcock films, a documentary about Ralph Waldo Emerson and The Transcendentalists, electronic record Black Sands by Bonobo, a documentary about the visual artist Sally Mann, John McLaughlin’s My Goal’s Beyond in vinyl, another documentary called Huxley on Huxley about writer Aldous Huxley, a couple of Wire records and the documentary Bigger Splash about painter David Hockney.
