Johnny Marr on Soccer AM 2004
Manchester City Fan Johnny Marr joined Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy on Soccer AM on 20 November 2004 to talk about The Healers, writing music for the Shameless Christmas Special, current favorite bands and his season prediction for Man City. Mention was made of a new theatre production, described by Johnny as “the story of The Smiths told through the medium of modern dance”. In fact, Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others ran from 30 June to 23 July 2005 at Lyric Hammersmith, produced by Anonymous Society. Also, Johnny scored in the “We Are The Champions League” challenge towards the end of the show.
