Noel Gallagher ended his recent tour at Brixton Academy in London with Johnny Marr joining his High Flying Birds for ‘Champagne Supernova’ and ‘Ballad Of The Mighty I’ on 6 September 2016. Paul Weller joined Noel during the encore for ‘Pretty Green’ and ‘Town Called Malice’.

Johnny plays ‘Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me’ with The Last Shadow Puppets

Johnny Marr joined The Last Shadow Puppets onstage at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester on 10 July 2016 for The Smiths ‘Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me’ from their last album Strangeways, Here We Come and The Falls ‘Totally Wired’. Johnny also played with the band at Alexandra Palace in London on 15 July 2016. In addition to the two songs mentioned above, he played on ‘The Element of Surprise’.
